2018 Goals

Hello hello lovely people out there. Once again here I am to try to blog for an entire year without feeling overwhelmed and giving it up. I believe this time I can do it.

So I'm here to talk to you about my goals for this year. I know I'm a week late to the party but what matters is that I'm here right? So let's talk goals.

Goodreads Challenge - Once again I'm participating in the Goodreads challenge but this time I'm setting it at 35 books. Why? Because I don't neet the extra pressure to read and this year I want to focus on big books. Plus I'm not the best at managing time correctly because I like to sleep and staying in bed doing nothing pretty much.

Popsugar Challenge - I'm still participating in this even though I have failed miserably these past few years but I don't care really. It's fun and I'm gonna try my best to complete as many prompts as I can. I will not be doing the advanced version though. I gotta stay real here ahah

Book Buying Ban? Sort of? - So since I already ran out of space months ago, I'm comming up with this idea that for every 5 books I read, I can only buy 2 physical books. I say physical because ebooks don't take any space so yeah...

Bullet Journal -  I would like to share my bullet journal here. I don't know how or if I'm gonna do it because I'm crap at it but I would like to try it.

Blogging schedule - I think I'm gonna lower the pressure on myself and set my blogging goals at 2 posts per week. I believe that's easy to do. We'll see.

Short Stories - I wanna read more short stories' collections this year. I tend to avoid them because I feel there's not enough material for me to established a connection and most of the times I want more so much that I end up throwing myself into a reading slump.

Project Stephen King - This is a challenge created by Aprilius Maximus on Youtube and I would like to follow through but not the exact same way she's going it. For once I'm not doing it in chronological order since I don't own all his books and I don't want to get out ot my budget to buy them. I am not setting my self to read x amount of his books per month. I'm just reading how I feel it, you know? It's not that stressing that way.

Reviews - I want to be more critical on my book reviews. I realised I give 4 stars way too often even if the entire book does not deserve it.

Series - Finish / Catch Up with some of the series I started in the past. I need to be done with those.

DNF'ING Books - Be more confortable with DNF'ing books. If I'm not enjoying it why put myself through the pain of reading it?

So these are all the goals I want to complete this year, they are a lot and I know that but we shall see how it goes. What about you what are your goals for this year?
